Flash Purification Cartridges and Columns
Biotage® was the first company to pre pack flash chromatography cartridges, and continues to be the innovation leader with four superior designs: Biotage ZIP™, Biotage SNAP and ISOLUTE®. Biotage flash cartridges for purification are manufactured from polypropylene and polyethylene that meet or exceed the extractable requirements in US 21 CFR 177.1520 and are packed using proprietary methods that strictly adhere to ISO 9001:2000 quality standards. Cartridge sizes range from 2 g to 40 kg. Biotage cartridges undergo a stringent series of tests including shock resistance and chromatography testing for maximum quality. SNAP cartridges are laser-etched with a unique lot number to ensure traceability.

High Performance, Low Pressure Flash Cartridges
Typical flash cartridges use irregular silica which contains a variety of particle sizes. The smallest particles or fines cause higher back pressure and lower flow rates. Biotage ZIP® Sphere cartridges contain KP-Sphere spherical silica which is manufactured under a new process that delivers 40% more surface area, no fines, and remarkably low back pressure.

Biotage SNAP Flash Cartridges
Biotage SNAP cartridges are designed with beneficial features including a removable cap for direct internal sample loading and the highest purity components to minimize leachables and extractables. SNAP cartridges are compatible with all flash systems from any manufacturer. The easy-to-use Luer-lok® connections provide plug-and-play attachment and operate at pressures up to 100 psi (7 bar). Biotage SNAP cartridges are made from USP Class VI materials and offer 7 types of loading options including 3 internal dry loading options.

ISOLUTE Cartridges
All Biotage FlashMaster systems use disposable pre-packed ISOLUTE flash columns which are easy-to-use and affordable. ISOLUTE columns are available in sizes from 2 g to 100 g in both normal- and reversed-phase chemistries. ISOLUTE columns are manufactured using advanced packing techniques under stringent quality control so you can be assured of reproducible column-to-column chromatographic performance. Scale-up of flash chromatography methods is easily achieved with minimal optimization.
