Autosampler
The Advantage Series™ 3400 autosampler accessory integrates into the Advantage Series 3400 process chemistry workstation. The autosampler retrieves samples from the reactors on the 3400 workstation so they can be transferred for use in analysis by HPLC and/or other methods. The 3400 autosampler has an overhead robotic assembly, and a carousel assembly, and can also be integrated with an HPLC (Agilent 1100).

Ball Valve Injection
For applications such as the synthesis of polyethylene where solid additions under pressure are necessary, the Endeavor ball valve injection accessory can be used in place of the standard injection ports which is utilized for injection of liquids. The ball valve allows for the injection of 500 µL of solids (max. size = 100 microns) and liquids under pressures up to 350 psi (24 bar). This gives the advantage of pre-loading and pre-wetting the co-catalyst or activator with solvent to initiate the polymerization.

The ball valve needle adapter, for use on the ball valve kit, allows for easier injection of the slurry with the use of a needle connected to the barrel of the syringe.
