Fast and efficient clean up of complex samples
ISOLUTE QuEChERS contain a mixture of precisely measured chemical compounds as described in the AOAC and EN standard methods for the analysis of pesticide residues from fruit and vegetable samples. Unlike labor intensive liquid-liquid extraction and complicated solid phase extraction methods, QuEChERS combines clean extracts with rapid work flow and ease of use that ensures reproducibility and faster sample preparation. Biotage’s strict quality control during the manufacturing process ensures consistent performance in an already well defined methodology.
The 15 mL extraction and clean-up tubes contain sufficient sorbent to process samples according to prescribed AOAC and EN methodologies and allow for immediate sample mixing and transfer to larger 50mL sample tubes. All QuEChERS products are shipped in a cardboard rack for ease of use and contain full instructions following the EN and AOAC methodologies.
QuEChERS technique involves two stages:
- A crude extraction and partitioning step using organic solvent and a salt solution.
- Followed by further extraction and clean up using dispersive solid phase extraction.

AOAC 2007.01 and European EN 15662 Methodologies
Biotage® supplies pre-weighed extraction and clean up tubes that conform with AOAC1,2 and the EU3 published methods, including those for waxed and highly pigmented fruit and vegetable samples.
